Welcome to Snapzter ("Snapzter," "we," "us" or "our"). Snapzter is a local social marketplace mobile and web application company aim to provide one stop window for every imaginable consumer need locally.

When you use these services, you’ll share some information with us. So, we want to be upfront about the information we collect, how we use it, whom we share it with, and the choices we give you to control, access, and update your information.

That’s why we’ve written this Privacy Policy. And that’s why we’ve tried to write it in a way that’s blissfully free of the legalese that often clouds these documents. Of course, if you still have questions about anything in our Privacy Policy, contact us through support@snapzter.com

Our Privacy Policy explains how we and some of the companies we work with collect, use, share and protect information in relation to our mobile services, web site, and any software provided on or in connection with Snapzter services (collectively, the "Service"), and your choices about the collection and use of your information.

·         By using our Service, you understand and agree that we are providing a platform for you to

·         post content, including photos, videos, comments, Likes and other materials ("User Content"), to the Service and to share User Content publicly. This means that other Users may search for, see, use, or share any of your User Content that you make publicly available through the Service.

·         Our Policy applies to all visitors, users, and others who access the Service ("Users").

1. Information We Collect

    There are three basic categories of information we collect:

·         Information you choose to give us.

·         Information we get when you use our services.

·         Information we get from third parties.

Here’s a little more detail on each of these categories.

Information You Choose to Give Us -

When you interact with our services, we collect the information that you choose to share with us. For example, most of our services require you to set up a basic Snapzter account, so we need to collect a few important details about you, such as: a unique username you’d like to go by, a password, an email address, a phone number, and your date of birth. To make it easier for others to find you, we may also ask you to provide us with some additional information that will be publicly visible on our services, such as profile pictures, a name, or other useful identifying information. Other services, such as commerce products, may also require you to provide us with a debit or credit card number and its associated account information.

Of course, you’ll also provide us whatever information you send through the services, such as Images, Videos, Comments and Chats to your friends. Keep in mind that the when you send/post Images, Videos, Comments, Chats, and any other content to Snapzter people can save that content or copy it outside the app. So, the same common sense that applies to the internet at large. Don’t send messages or share content that you wouldn’t want someone to save or share.

When you contact customer support or communicate with us in any other way, we’ll collect whatever information you volunteer. The existing information that can available from our servers, If our server fails to back up the user data we can’t provide to the users as well.

Information We Get When You Use Our Services -

When you use our services, we collect information about which of those services you’ve used and how you’ve used them. We might know, for instance, that you watched a particular video, saw a specific ad for a certain period of time, and sent a few images to friends. Here’s a fuller explanation of the types of information we collect when you use our services:

·         Usage Information. We collect information about your activity through our services. For example, we may collect information about:

o    how you interact with the services, such as which filters you view or apply to images or which search queries you submit.

o    how you communicate with other Snapzters, such as their names, the time and date of your communications, the number of messages you exchange with your friends, which friends you exchange messages with the most, and your interactions with messages.

·         Content Information. We collect content you create on our services, such as custom stickers, and information about the content you create or provide, such as if the recipient has viewed the content and the metadata that is provided with the content.

·         Device Information. We collect information from and about the devices you use. For example, we collect:

o    information about your hardware and software, such as the hardware model, operating system version, device memory, advertising identifiers, unique application identifiers, apps installed, unique device identifiers, browser type, language, battery level, and time zone;

o    information about your wireless and mobile network connections, such as mobile phone number, service provider, and signal strength.

·         Camera and Photos. Many of our services require us to collect images and other information from your device’s camera and photos. For example, you won’t be able to send Images or videos or upload photos from your camera roll unless we can access your camera or photos.

·         Location Information. When you use our services, we may collect information about your location. With your consent, we may also collect information about your precise location using methods that include GPS, wireless networks, cell towers, Wi-Fi access points.

·         Information Collected by Cookies and Other Technologies. Like most online services and mobile applications, we may use cookies and other technologies, such as web beacons, web storage, and unique advertising identifiers, to collect information about your activity, browser, and device. Most web browsers are set to accept cookies by default. If you prefer, you can usually remove or reject browser cookies through the settings on your browser or device. Keep in mind, though, that removing or rejecting cookies could affect the availability and functionality of our services.

o    details about how you’ve used our services.

o    device information, such as your web browser type and language.

o    access times.

o    pages viewed.

o    pages you visited before or after navigating to our website.

Information We Collect from Third Parties -

We may collect information that other users provide about you when they use our services. For example, if another user allows us to collect information from their device phonebook—and you’re one of that user’s contacts—we may combine the information we collect from that user’s phonebook with other information we have collected about you.

 

2. HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION

In addition to some of the specific uses of information we describe in this Privacy Policy, we may use information that we receive to:

·         help you efficiently access your information after you sign in

·         remember information so you will not have to re-enter it during your visit or the next time you visit the Service;

·         provide personalized content and information to you and others, which could include online ads or other forms of marketing

·         provide, improve, test, and monitor the effectiveness of our Service

·         develop and test new products and features

·         monitor metrics such as total number of visitors, traffic, and demographic patterns

·         diagnose or fix technology problems

·         automatically update the Snapzter application on your device

·         Snapzter or other Users may run contests, special offers or other events or activities ("Events") on the Service. If you do not want to participate in an Event, do not use the particular Metadata (right now we have hashtag only) associated with that Event.

3. SHARING OF YOUR INFORMATION

We will not rent or sell your information to third parties outside Snapzter (or the group of companies of which Snapzter is a part) without your consent, except as noted in this Policy. 

Parties with whom we may share your information:

·         We may share User Content and your information (including but not limited to, information from cookies, log files, device identifiers, location data, and usage data) with businesses that are legally part of the same group of companies that Snapzter is part of, or that become part of that group ("Affiliates"). Affiliates may use this information to help provide, understand, and improve the Service (including by providing analytics) and Affiliates' own services (including by providing you with better and more relevant experiences). But these Affiliates will honor the choices you make about who can see your photos.

·         We also may share your information as well as information from tools like cookies, log files, and device identifiers and location data, with third-party organizations that help us provide the Service to you ("Service Providers"). Our Service Providers will be given access to your information as is reasonably necessary to provide the Service under reasonable confidentiality terms.

·         We may also share certain information such as cookie data with third-party advertising partners. This information would allow third-party ad networks to, among other things, deliver targeted advertisements that they believe will be of most interest to you.

·         We may remove parts of data that can identify you and share anonymized data with other parties. We may also combine your information with other information in a way that it is no longer associated with you and share that aggregated information.

4. Control over Your Information

We want you to be in control of your information, so we provide you with the following tools.

·         Access and Updates. We strive to let you access and update most of the personal information that we have about you. There are limits though to the requests we’ll accommodate. We may reject a request for a number of reasons, including, for example, that the request risks the privacy of other users, requires technical efforts that are disproportionate to the request, is repetitive, or is unlawful. You can access and update most of your basic account information right in the app by visiting the app’s Settings page. If you need to access, update, or delete other personal information that we may have. Because your privacy is important to us, we may ask you to verify your identity or provide additional information before we let you access or update your personal information.

·         Revoking Permissions. If you change your mind about our ongoing ability to collect information from certain sources that you have already consented to, such as your phonebook or location services, you can simply revoke your consent by changing the settings on your device if your device offers those options. Of course, if you do that, certain services may lose full functionality.

·         Account Deactivation. You can put deactivation mode; this will enable you to know all the notifications and updates but other users can’t see you on search results.

·         Advertising Preferences. We try to show you ads that we think will be relevant to your interests.

·         Communicating with other Snapzters. It’s also important to us that you stay in control over whom you communicate with. That’s why we’ve built application in a powerful privacy mode.

 

 

 

5. Change of control

·         If we sell or otherwise transfer part or the whole of Snapzter or our assets to another organization (e.g., in the course of a transaction like a merger, acquisition, bankruptcy, dissolution, liquidation), your information such as name and email address, User Content and any other information collected through the Service may be among the items sold or transferred. You will continue to own your User Content. The buyer or transferee will have to honor the commitments we have made in this Privacy Policy.

·         We may access, preserve and share your information in response to a legal request (like a search warrant, court order) if we have a good faith belief that the law requires us to do so. This may include responding to legal requests from jurisdictions outside of the India where we have a good faith belief that the response is required by law in that jurisdiction, affects users in that jurisdiction, and is consistent with internationally recognized standards. We may also access, preserve and share information when we have a good faith belief it is necessary to: detect, prevent and address fraud and other illegal activity; to protect ourselves, you and others, including as part of investigations; and to prevent death or imminent bodily harm. Information we receive about you may be accessed, processed and retained for an extended period of time when it is the subject of a legal request or obligation, governmental investigation, or investigations concerning possible violations of our terms or policies, or otherwise to prevent harm.

 

6. How Long We Keep Your Content

Snapzter will keep the data based on our server capacity. We won’t delete user’s data until and unless any issues happened to our servers. Based on our application requirements we will adopt ephemeral option to delete certain category of posts after a particular period. For example buy and sell category may be we will put auto delete option after three months of posting the contents.

Finally—and this is important—you should understand that users who see the content you provide can always save it using any number of techniques: screenshots, in-app functionality, or any other image-capture technology. It’s also possible, as with any digital information, that someone might be able to access messages forensically or find them in a device’s temporary storage. Keep in mind that, while our systems are designed to carry out our deletion practices automatically, we cannot promise that deletion will occur within a specific timeframe. And we may need to suspend those deletion practices if we receive valid legal process asking us to preserve content or if we receive reports of abuse or other Terms of Service violations. Finally, we may also retain certain information in backup for a limited period of time or as required by law.

 

Following termination or deactivation of your account, Snapzter, its Affiliates, or its Service Providers may retain information (including your profile information) and User Content for a commercially reasonable time for backup, archival, and/or audit purposes.

7. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY

Snapzter does not knowingly collect or solicit any information from anyone under the age of 13 or knowingly allow such persons to register for the Service. The Service and its content are not directed at children under the age of 13. In the event that we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under age 13 without parental consent, we will delete that information as quickly as possible. If you believe that we might have any information from or about a child under 13, please contact us through Support@snapzter.com.

 

 

8. OTHER WEB SITES AND SERVICES

We are not responsible for the practices employed by any websites or services linked to or from our Service, including the information or content contained within them. Please remember that when you use a link to go from our Service to another website or service, our Privacy Policy does not apply to those third-party websites or services. Your browsing and interaction on any third-party website or service, including those that have a link on our website, are subject to that third party's own rules and policies. In addition, you agree that we are not responsible and do not have control over any third-parties that you authorize to access your User Content. If you are using a third-party website or service and you allow them to access your User Content you do so at your own risk.

10. CHANGES TO OUR PRIVACY POLICY

Snapzter may modify or update this Privacy Policy from time to time, so please review it periodically. We may provide you additional forms of notice of modifications or updates as appropriate under the circumstances.
